ABOUT RISE
RISE (Resilience Initiative for Students and Educators) is an innovative educational program designed to empower students in the Cayman Islands with essential knowledge and skills for resilience. Our curriculum focuses on three key themes: Natural Hazards, First Aid/Health, and Safeguarding, each addressing vital elements of preparedness, health, and safety.
Our resources, including engaging video lessons and comprehensive lesson plans, are tailored for primary and middle school students. These resources are designed to provide educators with the flexibility to deliver impactful lessons that meet their classroom requirements. Through RISE, we aim to foster a culture of resilience, safety, and well-being in our schools and communities.
RISE resources are completely free to all Cayman teachers thanks to the funding provided by the European Union and support from RESEMBID.
